Penny Little’s upcoming release “Remote Control Tsunami” unfolds as an intimate and deeply human invitation into Penny Little’s inner world—a genre-blurring solo work that celebrates connection, creativity, and the shared emotional landscape we all navigate. Moving fluidly between introspective electronic textures, theater, and moments of raw emotional clarity, the album centers on the title track, “Remote Control Tsunami,” an electrifying, dream-born dance piece where surreal imagery—a looming wave, a handheld remote, a party on the brink—becomes a powerful metaphor for choice, awareness, and reclaiming one’s inner rhythm. Both playful and thought-provoking, the track resonates with the Summer Solstice Celebration’s 2026 theme “WAVE”. In the works is a collaboration with World Dance for Humanity on the main stage at the Solstice Festival on June 19. Across the album, Little weaves together threads of love, loss, curiosity, and renewal, creating not just a collection of songs, but a vibrant, expressive journey that invites listeners to feel, reflect, and ultimately reconnect—with themselves and each other.
The album cover by Larry Vigon was iinspired by “Tsunami Warning” signs,the modern, bold ideas embedded in the music. Larry Vigon is an internationally acclaimed art director and designer who’s work has been seen by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Highlights include induction into The Album Cover Hall of Fame (2020) for such recording artists as Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Counting Crows, Bonnie Raitt, Carol King, Tom Petty and many more.
